I was so inspired by another artist a few weeks ago that I painted a series of sailboats. I love these paintings! I am totally drawn to water, don't know why I'm living in the mountains!!! I should be by the ocean...
Enjoy!
The first painting is my favourite. Don't you just love it when you find an inspiration that fits your vision so perfectly? Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Your sailboats are delightful ~ well done ~ (A Creative Harbor)
ReplyDeleteAnne, this is by far my favorite of all your paintings and I'm pinning it in my illustration board. You captured a fantastic light - but more than that, the motion lines give me a feeling of complete freedom that cannot be described in words. xoxo!
ReplyDeleteThe first painting is my favorite too! I love the ocean and I live near the mountains also. I love them both, but I still lean more towards loving the ocean more :)
ReplyDeleteThe first painting is my favourite too - the way you've used the flecks of white paint to pick out sun reflections in the water and on the boat is just fabulous - I love this piece!

I love your art! I too am drawn to water and sailboats ... I have some great beach/boat pics that I took last summer that I'm hoping to feature in my living room. Well, that is when I finally get around to working on a remodel! Sigh. I'm so behind on that schedule in my head ...

The first is terrific... and the funny thing is that I live by the water and yet am constantly drawn to the mountains... that is always the way isn't it...xx
