I have a candle obsession... I keep buying candles and holders (and making my own as well) even though I have no place to put them, I can't help myself!!!!
For love of candles :)
Candles decorated for Xmas with jute, ribbons and wrapping paper
Old light repurposed as candle holder with a candle wrapped with a bit of burlap and jute tie.
Not really a candle, but love it all the same
Garage Sale find
Love these stars!
Avon Moroccan Lantern
Love the chicken wire on these tea light holders
Antique bronze candle holders
Another star :)
a rustic touch with more jute
Jam jar candle holder (a few decorative stones & more jute)
Old fashioned boat lantern
Candle chandelier
So am I alone in this fetish or should I start a Candle Holders Anonymous group???
Have a fabulous week!!

I'll join your group. I have a drawer full of candles and tealights and a box full of glass votives in all different sizes and colors, and that doesn't even include the ones for christmas. I have different ones for each room and some for the balcony in summer, and some clear ones for the balcony in winter, in case it snows...
ReplyDeleteThe worst thing is that people notice my obsession and keep giving me candles and candle holders as gifts.
But you know what? In an emergency, when electricity is off and all flashlight batteries are empty, then we are the ones who still have light and everyone else is sitting in the dark and cold. So let's not call it a fetish but a well thought-out plan ;)
I would join that group!! I recently took a picture of my candles (not including tarts) and I can't believe how many that I have. I LOVE Bath & Body Works Slatkin candles, they are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love candles! You have a nice show of great candle holders, hanks for sharing! Living in California and having often blackouts in the summer, we need the candles! I like the ones that look very old world
ReplyDeleteIt's a good obsession to have in my opinion! I have candles burning in my home all year round -- they are such a simple way to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. You have a great collection.
ReplyDeletebut they really do look (and smell!) so pretty.....
ReplyDeleteI could join that group! I am obsessed with those smelly tarts. I have drawers and containers full of them. It's a problem, I admit. :-) I've got to wrap some candles in burlap... love that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!!
I have so many jar candles that my cabinet is full. It is an obsession. I burn so many of them and then when they are on sale I buy them and I don't even need them. It is a sickness I think.
ReplyDeleteYou could always burn the candles after photographing them, that way you can keep on collecting:)

You are not alone! I love candles too and they are tucked in all over the house. You should definitely start a group! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, you have an amazing collection. You should showcase more of those in your blog. More people should recognize the beauty it adds to the room. I personally love adding candles as accents to my room decorating ideas.
