I'm so glad I've learned to turn to painting to release pent up emotional energy. I'm expecting another burst of inspiration to come shortly thanks to another low this week that I'm working my way through. This year has been a year of extreme highs and lows for me. While it's been difficult to handle emotionally, it's been exactly what was needed to unleash the painting monster inside of me! I'm now learning to paint by allowing the energy to move through me and it's been an
amazing experience. The more I can let go, the better the results. It's absolutely fascinating, like someone else is painting through me.
Enjoy!

Beautiful paintings - all of them. The top one really does look ancient. I love the colors and the mood you've gotten in the painting. A new year is just around the corner. I hope that it will be better for you than you have indicated 2011 has been. Merry Christmas greetings. Faye

ReplyDeleteAnne, thank you so much for your sweet comment on my painting "And Heaven and Nature Sing" It means so much to me! I'm happy to see your painting journey also. This year has been challenging for me,too, in many ways and I've "rediscovered" painting after a five-year lapse. I love all these paintings of yours - my favorite is the first one. I agree with you - it looks ancient...like one of the "old masters!" It's wonderful to have the support of fellow bloggers!
